Our Story

In 1 Kings 6, olive wood was used at the entrance to the inner sanctuary of Solomon's temple. What we love about that era is nobody was thinking about margins or overhead. They cared so much about every material, where it went, what it was used for. We feel like that's kind of a lost art today, and it's exactly what we wanted to build this business around.

So that's the heart behind Olivewood. We're super intentional about what goes into your cup. The coffee we source, the ceremonial grade matcha, the organic ingredients, the syrups we make ourselves, none of it is in the name of profit or margins. We want to do it all with unreasonable excellence!

Coffee is a genuine love of mine, the craft, the sourcing, getting a drink right. My wife brings that same love to matcha and tea. Together, it's become our favorite way to practice hospitality. We love serving people, and we love making drinks they can't stop coming back for!

Our hope is simple. That every cup we serve carries the same care Solomon poured into his temple, just on a smaller, and much more caffeinated, scale.
